Holy moly, do babies grow up fast! I took Lyla’s newborn portraits only five months ago, and she already looks like a different baby! Even at 5 months, she’s still a little peanut, weighing only 11 pounds! She is the happiest baby and has such a contagious smile. I cannot wait to take more portraits of little Lyla as she grows.
A couple weeks ago, I met up with Emily and her mother in downtown Annapolis right after sunrise. She’s the first senior I’ve ever photographed that requested a sunrise session versus a sunset session! Emily has been home schooled her whole life and finished up her high school classes this past fall. She is currently taking college classes before she official graduates high school and she hopes to become a special effects make up artist! I’m so glad we were up early to beat the boat show rush and make use of the perfect weather. Take a look at this beautiful senior and be sure to leave her some love!
1 comment Last Wednesday, I flew down to Mexico to photograph Renee + Adam’s incredible destination wedding. While their wedding photos won’t be blogged for another week or two, I absolutely had to post the edits from their “trash-the-dress” session. If you’ve never heard of a trash the dress session, they’re SO much fun and definitely worth it if you don’t think you’ll ever use your wedding dress again. Renee and Adam were such troopers, waking up at 6:30am the morning after their wedding to hop into the Caribbean Sea and gigantic resort pool in their designer wedding garments! 1 comment I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Suzanne and Nick in downtown Annapolis a few weeks back in March. I have to admit that this was one of my favorite weddings, ever. The couple, their family, and their friends were SO friendly and fun. They made me feel so welcomed as I documented their special day.
